Bad color-cost, great CMC makes up for it.) A baseline for what the best generic wraths are allowed to be. It only kills smaller creatures and is greatly hindered by Questing Beast and really just green in general, but it has so much potential, and playes amazingly with Fires of Invention.)ġ ] (4-mana, super generic wrath effect.
] (Doesn't kill Bone-crushers, but it's a versatile card that brings a lot of value in the late-game). ] (It's very meta dependent, but exiling makes it a blowout when the meta suits it.). Still pretty powerful though, and for just four mana it has potential. ] (It solves most problems including green ones, but 4 damage is not enough to kill most planeswalkers unless they've minused. Again, Dream Trawler maybe? Even on color this time.) Only issue? You need to play a deck with both Board Wipes and creatures. A board-wipe that allows you to save one of your own creatures and get it's ETB effect again on a later turn is great. ] (She can be reanimated, and she can be played onto an empty board and still be good.). Abusable with fat creatures like Dream Trawler. It's held back a bit by the fact that it's a type of card you mainly play with planeswalkers, and this thing kills them, but it gives you som great come-back potential) It may only work for small bois, and it may not have good home ATM, but card's got potential, and a lot of it.) Sketchy to use a board wipe in an aggro deck, but it doesn't have a home anywhere else. I might even have forgotten some when scrambling this list together.) I'll give you my top 12, only because I'm a sucker who loves making dumb top 10 lists. Good cost/effect ratio, see Solar Blaze for the problem with the color combination. Really narrow, misses Elementals and everything with 4+ toughness. Great in an Amass deck, useless anywhere else Highly Meta dependant, if all key creatures have power >= toughness, it's a very efficient card but also in a color combination that besides ] wants to be aggro Really solid control deck Wrath, sometimes runs into problems because there are 3 playable Giants in Standard
Overall weak as a wipe but makes up for it with the Find side. If you need to clean up everything and don't run that many permanents yourself. Only works against tribal decks, which mostly would be Knights but even there it misses Regi, so it's mostly just too bad to see play Being a turn slower than shatter can hurt but it makes up for it with more card advantage Good, if you have a few, very good creatures. Needs you to play creatures and sometimes doesn't do the job, but when she is good she is awesome Is a great SB option but often misses in too many matchups to be a maindeck card
12 best board wipes sound like: all board wipes :D I doubt there are that many more.
